> Understanding movement is about creating a space unbound by time or place.
Video as a medium unfolds a new stage space - The lens is not only an aesthetic choice, but a way to explore how images create meaning. The video becomes a stage of its own, opening doors to new expressions, new dances. At the meeting point of dance and video, two distinct worlds weave into a single creation. Filming and editing dissolve into the choreographic process, and movement itself turns into raw material for cutting, layering, reshaping. Our tools are choreographic language, fragments of movement, the dialogue between body and space, frames, composition, color, and light. With them, we weave connections between two realms and give rise to a shared creative language.

The ‘Artists’ section is a presentation of the final works made in the “Understanding movement” course hosted and taught by Avigail Blum and Daphna Noy.
